I'm looking forward to celebrating Fabi's birthday tonight. I'm making her a German Chocolate cake from scratch, and I'm picking up some authentic Brazillian nibbles from a store in Birmingham.

I did a little research on traditions in Brazil. One that I like is that the first slice of cake is given away by the birthday person to someone they want to honor for being important in their life that year or their favorite person, whatever. Haha

Seeing which kid gets it should be kinda hilarious. Glad I only have one!
