Sometimes the best part of the entire day is the breakfast. I enjoyed calling you to talk about the food details.

We are in Houston with Beth helping with CE. Beth recommended this amazing coffee shop called Sunday Press. You would’ve liked the romantic-diner vibe… like a gold, marble, velvet aesthetic. Audrey Hepburn. More importantly, the Apple Cinnamon overnight oats were what I wanted to call you about.

You would’ve asked what was in them, and we would try to re-create them at home. Maybe we could’ve admitted that we don’t really know how you’re supposed to pronounce “compote”, but agree it must be important.

I miss that about Adam, too. He was a phone-eats-first kinda person, and he would’ve been excited to hear I was having Flax seed. Yay for fiber.

Lily and CE both appalled by the texture and color palette of the oats. Refused to try.
